Objectives of the project are:
- organize 4 learning mobilities to Germany, Poland, Italy and Great Britain with the aim to develop adult educators' intercultural competence,
- promote and encourage the development of adult educators' intercultural competence and its application in teaching,
- promote and support the cooperation network of the adult educators from Ida-Virumaa,
- make contribution to the development of more inclusive and sustainable society in Estonia.
Adult learning centre Vestifex is a project coordinator. The participants of the learning mobilities are all adult educators who work with Vestifex in different educational programmes, seminars, and workshops. They all are qualified adult educators and professionals from different spheres of adult education, working for the benefit of the Ida-Viru County community. They are willing to learn, grow, and work in a tight cooperation with other trainers, educators, organisations, and educational institutions.
As a result of the project, the participants will have better understanding of other cultures and will become more competent in the design and delivery of an intercultural training. The organisation will enhance its capacity to work for the development of life-long learning on regional and international level.
The main objective of the course is to introduce the resources of non-formal learning methods for supporting teacher's work, students' development, and learning processes at schools and educational institutions.
Through experiential learning and practical experience, participants will become skilled in variety of non-formal methods, games, and tools aimed at creating and sustaining a functional, favourable, and inclusive learning environement. By the end of the course, every participant will create a personal “Toolbox of non-formal methods”.
