Short-term joint staff training event took place in Narva from April 18th to 24th, 2016. The participants were trainers and adult educators from the partner organisations.
The training started with theoretical input by guest speakers Georgi Skorobogatov and Marina Bityanova. Georgi Skorobogatov is a lecturer at Tallinn University and EPALE platform https://ec.europa.eu/epale/ coordinator in Estonia. Marina Bityanova is a professor of the Department of Differential Psychology at MSUPE and director of the Center for Psychological Support of Education "Tochka PSY" http://tochkapsy.ru/ (Moscow).
The next day, partners started presenting their local work and expertise by giving workshops and presentations on the topics of supporting human agency of adult learners through reflective practice, portfolio and learning diary, dialogue-based reflection, reflective practice in learning context of immigrants and individuals with intellectual challenges, and a reflection tool for embodied knowledge in collaborative and transformational adult learning.
On the third day, the participants had a joint learning experience in the Center for Creative Development and Leisure "GAGARIN". All together they created a piece of art, symbolizing learning, made using glass fusing techniques. Shortly after this excercise, reflection followed.
On the fourth day, they practiced Mindfulness Meditation and discussed all the practical issues regarding forthcoming mobilities, intellectual outcome, and reflection tools to be tested during mobilities.
The last training day was spent in Tallinn exploring the Estonian Healthcare Museum as a learning environment for adults. They learned about local culture and history throughout the quest.
The training finished with summerization and evaluation.
